Turkeys? Oh yeah we hunt them. There's no better excuse to get in the woods in the spring time. Our season usually comes in around the last week in April and runs thru the middle of May. We prepare for Turkeys just like we do our deer. Start scouting well ahead of time and have them patterned good by the time the season comes in. Ohio only allows Turkey hunting till noon in the spring time. So all hunts are only half days which gives you the rest of the day for Turkey naps and possibly some fishing or golfing. Ohio has a very high population of wild Turkeys which translates to a great hunt with a very high success rate. We can do the ever popular shotgun hunt or do a change up with bow and arrow. Both hunts are enjoyable and may very likely end with a big tom on the ground. That's of course if we can shoot straight. Ohio allows two Toms per spring season each tag running $24.00 each. All hunts are booked on a daily basis with multiple days suggested to optimize success.
